Anthraquinones are reduced to anthrahydroquinones
by light in polymer films. And this anthrahydroquinone can absorb remaining oxygen
in a tray.
We have many anthraquinone derivatives that are soluble in organic solvent
and pre-polymer.( WO99 / 10251,PCT / AU98 / 00671) |
UV is irradiated to antraquinones in a polymer.
Anthraquinones are changed into anthrahydroquinones.
The polymer having anthraquinons becomes the polymer with oxygen absorption ability. |
| 2.Anthracene derivatives for the introduction
to polymer |

Anthracenes generally respond to the light.
They have the large intension of the absorption of ultraviolet ray near 250nm,
and they emit the fluorescence.
It is necessary that anthracene unit is pendent to polymer or put in
the poloymer structure. Such a polymer expects to be thermally more stable and
to have the photo-responsibility by the aromatic introduction.
